So much for a holiday break — the CLO market is already winding up for another bumper year, meaning law firms have barely had time to compute the high volume of issuance in 2024, which came close to breaking records in both Europe and the US.

With over 1,100 deals in the US and over 200 deals in Europe to aim for, 2024 has been a busy year for law firms. The final quarter was no exception, with 344 deals priced in the US and 67 in Europe.

It was also a notable quarter for personnel moves at law firms, with changes at Kirkland & Ellis, Proskaeur and Mayer Brown. But first, back to the rankings…
