Today we’re thrilled to launch ESG Company Data, the latest addition to 9fin’s unique ESG product offering.

We’ve trawled through thousands of sources, including OMs, Sustainability, CSR / ESG reports and frameworks, second party opinions and contacting companies directly, to source the data you care about most. No estimated data - you can always trace our ESG data back to the original source in one click.

You can find ESG company data, our ESG QuickTake analysis on new issuance and ESG news  under the dedicated “ESG” tab on each company’s 9fin profile. You can use ESG company data to:

Check how green bonds issuers have engaged with the SBTi - for example, ZF has made a Net Zero commitment and has a near term target of 1.5°C, but no long term one;

Compare the emissions data for companies within the automotive industry, for example Rolls Royce, Volvo Cars and Jaguar Land Rover; or

Review the levels of ESG disclosure of companies which have issued sustainability-linked bonds, like VodafoneZiggo or Novolex.

Our initial data set is made up of 14 key data points:

11 ESG metrics including Principal Adverse Indicators (PAIs) under the EU Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR), including emissions, energy consumption and board gender diversity. Disclosure on 14 PAIs will be mandatory for asset managers, funds and fund brokers from December 2022 and we will be expanding our scope to include all 14 PAIs in the near future.
