Today we are excited to be announcing the addition of loan agreements on Covenant Explorer, the latest enhancement to the 9fin Legal product offering. You can now use Covenant Explorer to find, analyse and compare key covenant terms across both European bond and loan deals.

Covenant Explorer gives you the tools to make covenant analysis simple. View deal information, baskets split out and compare draft loan documents to executed versions, or loans to bonds. You can use Covenant Explorer to:

Review the changes in the drafting of the ESG-linked ratchet in Altadia’s 2022 TLB using our redlines tool;

Build a comp chart of recent loans in seconds and compare drafting across different terms;

Download everything to excel to continue with your own analysis;

Compare terms across different instruments of the same issuer

Private deal information is only available to users who have access to the underlying documentation. As an added layer of protection, all private document text is stored in our database in an encrypted format and is only decrypted on demand.

You can access confidential data in Covenant Explorer by emailing copies of the relevant loan agreements to loans@9fin.com. You can also request deals that we’re currently missing by providing our legal team with the relevant loan or bond documentation. All large European leveraged loans and bonds can be added to Covenant Explorer, including any currently in the market as well as historical deals.
