We're kicking off 2025 on a high: 9fin has been named by the The Sunday Times 100 Tech as one of Britain's fastest growing private technology companies!

The list measures average annual sales growth over the past three years, placing 9fin among Britain’s top businesses and innovators. It’s a brilliant milestone for 9fin, and I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the numbers, achievements, and new releases that have driven our growth.

Our growth in numbers

As COO, I spend a lot of time looking at the numbers — and at 9fin, the numbers tell a remarkable story. Here’s a few things that stand out:

• $50M Series B funding: This gives us the firepower to accelerate our US expansion and increase our investment in tech and AI.
• 400% ARR growth: We’ve achieved rapid growth since our Series A+ fundraise in December 2022. We’ve delivered platform enhancements, expanded our team to nearly 250, and opened a new hub in Belfast to deliver the most comprehensive and highest quality data to our clients.
• Nearly 200 trusted clients (and growing!): We’re now trusted by nearly 200 leading global debt market firms — including 9 of the 10 top investment banks, leading law firms and asset management firms with a combined $17trn assets under management. Thousands of professionals rely on 9fin daily to save time and gain critical insights.

The 9fin “delivery train” runs full throttle

We’re a business that moves at speed. One of our core values is “ship early and often”, and we live by it — delivering in months what might take years elsewhere. This mindset is one of the many things that makes 9fin such an exciting place to work.

Some highlights from 2024:

• Introduced Docket Rocket: We launched our PACER feature, Docket Rocket, bringing federal court filings in-platform, so customers have everything they need in one place.
• Supercharged 9fin AI: Our upgraded AI search delivers even more accurate and comprehensive answers to your company-related questions, powered by 9fin’s proprietary expert articles and financial analyses, and real-time earnings call transcripts.
• Launched BDC Holdings Data: We upped our private credit database with comprehensive investment holdings data, extracted from BDC quarterly filings. This one, searchable data set eliminates the need to sift through hundreds of filings, saving our clients valuable time.
