Thames Water’s lenders today (14 May) have allowed the company to draw an additional £365m tranche from its £1.5bn bridge financing facility while the company waits on an appeal decision.

More than 94% of the distressed utility company’s bridge facility lenders granted waivers allowing it to access the additional cash, according to a company announcement. Thames Water expects to draw on this latest tranche of funding in the “last few weeks of May”.
