Banks have wall-crossed some lenders on the long-awaited financing for French multinational pharma firm Sanofi’s carve-out of Opella, 9fin sources said.

22 banks lined up to back ClaytonDubilier & Rice’s majority buyout of Sanofi’s consumer health division for a total debt package of €7.5bn, 9fin previously reported — much-needed new money supply in a market fat with repricings and grappling with thinning spreads.
