Banks including RBC are pre-marketing a new deal for Zoopla owner ZPG this week, 9fin sources said, in a move that would extend the maturity of the company’s euro debt and repay its sterling debt.
The deal uses a new €421m TLB with an extended maturity, as well as €540m of proceeds from ZPG’s recent Hometrackdisposal and €9m of cash on its balance sheet, to refinance its euro 2028 debt and repay its £535m 2028 TLB, sources said.
The preliminary deal is marketed on £169m of pro forma adjusted EBITDA for the LTM to August 2026, with 2.2x net first lien leverage and £42m of cash, sources added.
It follows ZPG’s sale of property data firm Hometrack to Providence Equityearlier this year. KKR financed the acquisition of the £30m EBITDA business via private credit debt, 9fin reported last month.
ZPG, backed by Silver Lake, is a UK digital marketplace group comprising brands including Zoopla, Alto, Uswitch, and Confused.com. Silver Lake took the business private in a £2.2bn deal in 2018.
ZPG, RBC and Silver Lake did not respond to requests for comment.
